Default moving to philly burbs -- working in trenton

My husband just got a job in Trenton.
We live in Queens but plan to move to the philly suburbs in the summer
We have 2 boys-- 7 and 5 and we want to get a house with lots of backyard space, in a neighborhood with great schools.
We can afford around $250k.
From what we've read and researched, we were thinking about Warminster, Warrington, and Doylestown.
What's the commute like to Trenton?
Are there other places in Montgomery County that have good schools as well?
My husband grew up in Philly so we're familiar with the general areas, but the school system is our biggest issue.
Also, being from NY, diversity is important to us.
Any and all info would be appreciated.
