I have hope

So far my memory only includes the first 6 innings...

I'm not going to judge Kapler after just one game, but that opener not a good sign. The bullpen is a dumpster fire. Your whole managerial strategy can't revolve around pulling your starters early in every game. He's going to have to change.

Lets hope he gets positive energy from his early mistakes to make better moves

Agree in many ways we wasted two good starts, they should be 2-0

And there is hope

so maybe we lost 500 on game one, maybe not

they look great through the first 6 innings it seems...

My impression by listening to Kapler is that he is more concerned with proving his "innovation", and personal idiosyncrasies. Will this translate into winning baseball games? I think it is too early to tell. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think they have some good young players that could build a nice core.

If by disappointing you mean not earning a wild-card spot, then yes. But being one of the youngest teams in MLB an 81 win season would be a huge success. They now have deep pockets and next year will be one of the big players in the free agent market, and there will be some studs out there worth signing that could make the difference in regards to contending.

Phillies to receive a written reprimand by the league because of the bullpen snafu on Saturday.

I'm guessing Kapler communicates with his bullpen by sending them Snapchats of his abs during the game...

Sure... anything is possible.

Gabe Kapler, imo, won't last the season.
