Newtown and Yardley are nice and about a 20-30 minute drive to Princeton. I lived in Newtown and loved it and we went to Princeton a few times to the gallery and such.
good luck. (I don't know about the catholic high schools. An old friend went to CE and he too lived in Newtown)

I went to Conwell Egan Catholic. I would verify certain areas of Newtown before looking into moving there. Most people that go to Conwell Egan don't live in Newtown, as I am not sure if CEC serves that area. I know that the Yardley area does serve CEC. Living in Yardley is a pretty easy commute to Princeton.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Good luck with your move!

My family lives in Newtown, and my step mother works in Princeton. The commute time varies based on the traffic for the day, but I believe the actual distance is less than 20 miles.
I attended Assumption BVM Catholic elementary school, but I lived in Langhorne at the time (Langhorne is only a few miles from Newtown/Yardley area). Assumption is the closest Catholic elementary school I'm aware of. I don't think you have to worry about exactly where you live as far as which shool you can attend, since, unlike public schools, Catholic schools don't have districts. It's just easiest to attend those closest. For the most part, Middletown, Falls, and Newtown Townships are probably your best bets for good areas that are within an easy commute of Princeton and not far from the Catholic schools either.

Technically thats not true. You pay a different rate if you are from outside the Parish (they figure you are helping out with Parish donations if you're from the Parish.). You'll probably need to get 'Permission' from the Parish you live in to attend a school thats is outside your Parish if your Parish has a school available.
Go to Archdiocesan High Schools
and ask there.

St Andrews is in Newtown and St Bedes is in Richboro. I would say they are the two best Catholic elementary schools.
For Catholic High schools check out Holy Ghost Prep and Arch Bishop Wood as well, both schools are about 15 - 20 mins from the Newtown area.
