I got to see home Flyers games on three separate occasions, the day before the carnivals I attended.

On the last 2 Carnivals, the games the day before the event were out of town. So, I didn't get to see a home game. But, I did catch a puck from the ice during my last home Flyers game. That was really cool.

I have met Giroux 4x, Jagr 2x (once in Philly and once in Dallas), Simmonds 2x, and many other players.
Was actually a college baseball coach, retired in 2010 and began doing public speaking on "diversity and inclusion" in sports and eventually connected with the "You Can Play Project" which is partnered with the NHL. Also a long time friend of the Gaudreau family hence reason for being a Flames fan.

I agree - that new mascot is pretty bad...

The whole world has been talking about the mascot since the day it was unveiled. You can't buy that kind of marketing.

Gritty looks like the Phillie Phanatic's cousin from Kensington.

If you look online, the Flyers are going into overdrive with videos and other things to try and make Griity be liked.

On the flipside, the performance of the team tonight was abysmal.

It was abysmal, but it was only one game. I wasn't going to get too excited about winning the first game, and I won't get too down on laying an egg in this one. It's a long season.

Yes, I agree. It was only the 3rd game. Hopefully it does not become a pattern

Yes. They played in the old Convention Hall.
