This collapse is going to be much worse than the collapse of the Phillies this past season because expectations were low for the latter to begin with.

But, when you win the Super Bowl you are supposed to behave and play like champions.

Not a collapse yet, but 2 ugly games in a row. Not going to the Super Bowl but still can win the NFC East. As long as they finish ahead of the Cowboys I will be happy.

I believe they will turn it around. Wentz is not the problem. He looks just as good as prior to the injury. Their O line looks old, they are making mental mistakes, and their Secondary is weak. Their running game is suffering with a lot of injuries and they are missing Blount. Too many stupid penalties, too many errors, and lack of speed in the Secondary.

Team looks bad as a whole, but Wentz doesn't look anywhere close to pre-injury. Even if he's playing solid, that's not the same as otherworldly.

Was there and still can't fathom why in the 4rth Quarter when they were in field goal range, even though it would of been a long one, they punted. They were down by 6 with plenty of time on the clock for one or two more possessions. As soon as they did that I said to my son, watch them lose this game by a field goal. The rest is history.

They're not going to "collapse". But, with that said, don't expect another Super Bowl this year. Repeating in the NFL (especially after your first one) is one of the hardest things to do in sports. Even the Patriots were 9-7 the year after their first SB win. The Eagles are poised to be one of the elite NFL franchises for the next decade. Don't be too disappointed with 10-6 and a first round exit this year.

I do miss Blount, not only for enhancing our running attack (Blount-Ajayi-Sproles) but just the energy and enthusiasm he brought to the team. He was the first one off that plane when it landed from MN coming over to the fans at the fence. And the time he grabbed the pom poms from the cheerleaders and started cheering. And how he connected with the fans during the parade, I got great pictures of him. I miss that and I don't know that anyone on the team is in that "cheerleader" role.

I hate to see the players jawing at one another. That was one of the things we did NOT have last year...they were truly like a band of brothers. Never saw one iota of ego or selfishness from anyone, other than the Mychal Kendricks grumbling in the beginning of the season. It was a thing of beauty. I guess the frustrations are reaching their boiling point now. Not good.

I didn't necessarily think we'd win the SB again, but I sure didn't think we'd look this bad, when we do have most of the same squad as last year. I do find it funny that most Eagles fans are not giving them any kind of pass at all for winning the SB. That set our expectations even HIGHER than normal!

Looks like the Birds are gonna face some ugly weather tonight. Giants always play them tough. A loss will not necessarily be the end of the world but will raise some doubts on the remainder of their season.
