Who knew there is a museum of the 3 Stooges?

Somewhere I had read about it and remembered that it is open Thursdays only.

I saw that it actually had nice reviews on Tripadvisor so we decided to have a go at it today.

It was really very enjoyable
-- probably good for one to two hours- in case you are looking for something low key but different give it a try!

Wow... They should move this to South Street near the home of Larry Fine...I am sure the attendance would increase dramatically.... I wonder what their connection is to that particular PA town.

I was curious about the location as well. It seems it is tied in with the key owner of the collection. I suppose finding space in Philly would have been way out of line $$wise.

From the website--
The 10,000 square-foot, 3-story building houses anything and everything Stooge. Artifacts from 1918 to the present are on exhibit, including several interactive displays. The Stoogeum also contains a research library, a 16MM film storage vault and an 85-seat theater used for film screenings, lectures and special presentations.

The Stoogeum is also the headquarters of the Three Stooges Fan Club, one of the nationís oldest and largest fan clubs with 2,000 Tmembers world-wide. An annual meeting of the fan club brings together Stooges relatives, supporting actors, impersonators and fans with the Stoogeum at the hub of the event.

The Stoogeum is located at 904 Sheble Lane, Ambler, PA 19002

I once went driving around there as I had just moved to the area, and it was not even easy to locate which specific building it was, not enough signage. I recall it was in an office park/condo kind of place.

I was told it was a great place to go if you are a 3 stooges fan. Did not end up going because we did not know much about the 3 stooges.
