Sounds like Langhorne & Yardley will be safer, though.
I hope it works out!!! Never had to move this quickly before...from 6 states away!
Looking forward to being in PA!
Good luck with that

Anyway yes Yardley is getting into the way better areas...lot of $$ there,
New Hope also.

Good luck. Oh, and for permanent living, I would look into Newtown, parts of Langhorne...these are not far from Bensalem.
the prices are still about the same now in korman. it's a good area. understand your getting closer to philly, so it's not going to look like the "country" ... if you want a quiet, country-er setting try langhorne or further back in bensalem, or yardley... but this area is ok especially for what your paying. there are lots of stores and your close to a lot of things- philly, princeton, nj, malls, restaurants, train stations, 95 and the turnpike.... i like it. is it perfect? no. but... it's what i expected. i live alone with cats also :P and i feel perfectly safe here. i would stay away from the area around franklin mills mall. and i wouldn't go any closer to philly. i was in levittown before bensalem and it's alittle nicer (i wanted to be slightly closer to philly) so you could look there too. langhorne is really nice- if i can ever buy a house that's where i plan on looking.
