Only a 60 game season. Last year 60 games into the season the Phillies were atop of their division. LOL!

Eh... new rules with extra innings, trade deadlines, almost certainly some players will bow out diluting the talent further (if we even get that far - more and more players are testing positive). Most of the fun of baseball anyway was actually going to games and spending a lazy summer afternoon in the sun at the stadium. This entire season will be one big asterisk. So no, personally, I'm pretty apathetic.

I'd bet good $ that the season doesn't even happen. No matter how many precautions you take, there are going to be lots of players and staff getting the virus during Spring Training V2. The ranks will be so depleted by opening day that it'll be obvious that completing even an abbreviated season will be pretty much impossible.
And what's with the extra inning rule? It's just a tick away from having these guys play tee ball!

Without being in a bubble it's very well possible. Same with the NFL. It will be about testing, and testing everyday.
They will in the beginning of spring training ll split the team between Citizens Bank and the stadium the Iron Pigs play in Lehigh Valley area.

You could be right but MLB did a sample study of 3600 players and employees and only 1.2 % tested positive as of last week. Now that was after months of self quarantine and the positive results no doubt helped getting things re-started

We'll see how things go now that they try to restart. Cautiously optimistic but fear you may be right a month from now.

Rhys Hoskins spoke to reporters Wednesday about the prospect of wearing a mask on the field during games, once they start July 24. Not only is Hoskins contemplating wearing a mask on the field, he told reporters that he may keep a mask in his pocket to put on when a runner gets on first base.
