Love what I'm seeing so far. Obviously, all of the hype is about Harper, but they fundamentally changed the whole lineup. One person alone can't make THAT much difference. Just look at the WAR stat, which actually attempts to measure how much an individual player contributes to wins. Harper averages about 4 and he's one of the best in the league (and even in his MVP year was only 10), so just Harper wouldn't move the needle much. But they didn't just add him, they added Harper, Realmuto, McCutcheon, AND Segura, who were all all-stars last year, so if they all have a WAR of 4, then adding 16 wins to their 80 last year IS something.

Bryce Harper didn't run hard out of the box on his double last night, he would have been a dead duck if the second basemen held onto the ball.

He had a 1.03 WHIP last year and 0.85 in 2017. What he's shown early this season in certainly very concerning, but I don't see a history of it.

Only 15 games in and ham-handed Hoskins has cost them two games with his poor defense ... Maybe he should work more on his fielding and less on his goofy hand slaps.

And what's wrong with Aaron Nola?

First place and we are still not showing up to fill CPB. Yesterday was pathetic!

I did run into Tigers fans yesterday needing help on the BSL.

50 degrees and raining on May 1st isn't exactly a draw for baseball. If they're still in first in July, it'll be packed every night.

It hasn't mattered so much in the past. In any case let's support this team. Seeing people in seats will boost morale.

I was there two days ago and it seemed pretty full.

weather plays a role.

As far as Bryce Harper? He needs to keep his mouth shut and stop yelling at the umpires and play baseball.

And start hitting homers like he was. Right now, all I see is hype with him.

Harper has always been hot and cold at the plate. He only hit 0.249 last year. He'll eventually have a hot streak where he almost singlehandedly wins 12 games in a row. I still love the passion and energy he plays with, even in a batting slump.
