For me it would be perfect if that little bit of area -- west of Island Avenue from the airport just up to Woodland Avenue -- "Eastwick" could leave Philly join Delaware County. It's only separated by the creek.

The city's new boundary there would be Island Avenue and to the north, Cobbs Creek, as it is now.

Would Eastwick turn into separate community or join Darby in your vision?

It would actually be better if Philadelphia take Tinicum and the little areas around that in order to expand at the airport without running into issues between another county.

If Philadelphia were to ever annex more land again, this would be the most logical scenario.

Perhaps an its own unincorporated area in 1) Tinicum Township or 2) Darby Township? -- but not not became part of "Darby" or "Sharon Hill."
