We are considering relocating for a job opportunity for my wife in King of Prussia.

Optimally looking for a single family home with a max at 400K.

We have been reading and it seems Gilbertville has a good bang for the buck as well as above average schools joined with Boyerstown.

Question is if it is commutable in 45 min from Gilbertsville to KoP during the 7AM rush hour time frame? Also, any other areas that may be of recommendation?

Prefer low crime and above average schools (doesn't everybody Thanks

It might occur in 45 minutes, but sometimes your commute could be an hour.

I have a friend who lives in Gilbertsville and I agree about the area and the school district.

King of Prussia itself although might not be in your budget. I think Bridgeport (but you should go in-person to see the sites) could be relatively up and coming and is in an excellent good school district) is a winner for you honestly.
Maybe Conshohocken.
Look at Oaks, Phoenixville, Trappe, Collegeville, Spring City, Royersford as well.

Swamp Pike and then onto to 422W gets very busy in the mornings, I used to leave a friends house in G'ville at 6a to get to Ctr City by 7:10a. I would of hated to leave any later due to heavy traffic. 422 can be terrible.

I second Bridgeport. It is not suburban though but will offer the best bang for your buck for the most family time (meaning a commute of 15 minutes) and located in an excellent school district.
