Hi,

I am looking for social service organization in Delaware county that will help me with my special needs son.
I am a single mother with four children and also a graduate student. I am a victim of
assaults and abuse and the police is investigating. With the upcoming court dates etc, I feel I have enough already. My special needs son has been missing school and he has depressions. People say I have to talk to the school to seek help but I can’t get help from the school. It has always to be a fight. I feel it’s too much for me at this moment. I am thinking that someone from social services can help me talking with the school etc. I live in Delaware County. I am looking for contacts, websites of organization in my area.
Thank you.

What school district does your son attend? Does he have an I.E.P.? Try calling the Delaware County Intermediate Unit for advice. www.dciu.org
