I posted a thread like this recently but got the addresses mixed up.
I’m moving into a place on 7th in Wallace in North Philly, near Poplar and Northern Liberties. What do you guys think of that, safety wise? Or really anything that would be good to know about the area?
I am a female in my twenties.
Thank you so much!

It's only technically N. Phila..

Wallace is two blocks north of Spring Garden St. 7th and Spring Garden is where the Edgar Allen Poe historic house is located.

I'm a female and would feel okay living there. But, I'm very city oriented.

Like the above poster stated, this is only “technically” North Philadelphia. It’s basically 7th and Spring Garden. The area is just fine, I wouldn’t have any precautions living there at all. You’re in close proximity to Northern Liberties and Fishtown, which are very much up and coming neighborhoods filled with young people.
