The reason you can't get Fios is because Verizon are idiots.

I've been trying to get it in our building for years and they keep telling me that I have to call a field rep to request it - which I have done probably 10 times.

I've given up.

Whether you like Starbucks or not, I find the selective arguments infuriating. Fishtown neighbors would welcome Trader Joes or Whole Foods with open arms, but apparently Starbucks is shunned... Starbucks will win at the end of the day, not sure why certain Fishtown neighbors are putting up such a fight.
There's a bit of irony in that Starbucks used to have an edge wrt creating a footprint in places that wanted to be cool. But that was 20 years ago. Fishtown would have welcomed Starbucks with opened arms on Frankford or Girard Aves in 2000. It was a harbinger of positive change.

FiOS installs are NIGHTMARES because they hire horrendously idiotic subcontractors. And they are especially nightmares in legacy buildings where there are issues with oldish internals like stonework, marble, etc.

This location for Trader Joes works a lot better for me because it's near the trolley stop at 13th and Market

I always had to catch the 44 from 8th and market to go to 22nd and market. But that's only if it's similar to the one on 22nd st. I will find out tomorrow

Crowds? Layout? Parking? Size/space? Clientele?

More reports, please.
Thanks.

Because...... I'm curious. But not enough to make a special trip that's way out of my way. That's why.
I used to work at the Market Street store. And I'm just interested in what people think about the new store.

Was just there today, and the layout is bigger and cleaner (just because it’s newer). Not as many people, but I wonder if they size of the space helps it to feel less crowded. It also was nice to see people the number of people on the streets or getting on the buses with a TJ’s bag.

I went this evening and had no idea it was so close to Broad Street. It's less crowded than the one on 22nd and Market which is probably because a lot of people dont know about it
