Doylestown is a working class PA town that prides itself on its over the top Main Street appearance fronting basically a white collar/blue collar populous. It's basically a glorified Easton, PA with less crime or what neighboring Easton, Allentown, Bethlehem aspire to be. Furthermore, it's in a bad location. Too far from Philly, too far from NJ. And 10 minutes to the west is Quakertown and many other lower income areas of Bucks County and Lehigh County that have little potential. I would think twice about moving to that area, there is limited growth potential with mostly local and government jobs in the area. And the county roads that lead into town are not a pleasant drive at all. Doylestown will never be New Hope or Yardley. As Rocker said, it is what it is. Which is a little cutsy gem in an otherwise drab and gray area of Bucks County.
