Considering how bad their pen has been it's amazing they are still in the mix. Also quite possible a team with more losses then wins could make the playoffs.

With the Phillies, it's always something or the other. If starting pitching and hitting is good, then the bullpen will be terrible. If the bullpen is good, it is vice versa.

I missed going to a few games this summer. Always a fun thing to do on a summer night.

Regular season comes to an end this weekend. Phillies trying to catch Gabe Kapler and his Giants for the 2nd Wildcard spot with the Brewers right behind. Also a remote possibility they could catch the Reds for the 1st WC spot or even the Marlins or Cardinals for a 2nd place playoff spot.

Many of these players make a lot of money. Why can't they all live in a bubble? (Yeah, it's uncomfortable, but that's their livelihood :/ )

Doesnt seem like the making the playoffs this season is much of an accomplishment

True, however the playoff format being used this season will most likely become permanent.

Somehow, I have zero expectations and the phillies still find a way to let me down.
