Hi, how does requesting someone for insulation installation work?

Is this a costly operation?
I assume I would I have to move stuff out of the way?
I'm not sure how it works.
Also, any recommendations with who I could use near the Media area? Thank you.

Any area where I have a window. The area is equivalent to 10 standard sized windows on a number of walls and a porch door.

You want weatherstripping and possibly caulk. Do you have storm windows? My son rents an old house and one window doesn't have a storm. He sealed the gaps with removable cloth backed tape and used an interior window insulation kit.

I think that you want a handyman for this sort of work. When I hear the word insulation I think batts, rigid panels, and stuff blown into walls and voids. I don't have a name for you.

I think I have storm windows, but I'm not sure. I had my windows replaced about 5 years ago, maybe less than that. I'm not in a particularly old place either. Slightly over 20 years old.

It looks like weather stripping was installed on the window itself because there's a small foamy like strip across the back of a window I opened. I do have some caulk. It appears I can use that in two rooms, but everywhere else seems fine. Thanks for your suggestions for that!

I definitely want to consider a handyman. It's worth the convenience with my lack of skills. If I didn't have a job, it would makes sense to try to endure as much "aggravation" to save money on this as possible.
