We interrupt this argument over the performance of the Governor during COVID to offer one more answer about July 4 for the OP:

If — IF — fireworks are scheduled for this July 4, they will be launched from behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art, with the Ben Franklin Parkway from Logan Circle to Eakins Oval as the main viewing site.

Since most of the statements issuing from City Hall suggest the city will still be a little more restrictive than the state in what it permits as restrictions ease, and most of the events that draw crowds that have been announced to date aren't occurring until early fall, I wouldn't count on seeing fireworks in Philly this year for the second year in a row.

Pity you won't be coming up to visit in June. The Philadelphia Flower Show, which also didn't take place last year, is on again, later than usual and outdoors. The nation's oldest and largest flower show usually takes place in March at the Pennsylvania Convention Center; this year's edition will run from June 6-23 at FDR Park in South Philadelphia (the site of the 1926 Sesquicentennial Exposition).

Thank you for the helpful NON-POLITICAL answer.

Honestly, I'm surprised one poster in particular was allowed to hijack this thread to push a political narrative.
