Default Bensalem school distict opinions

We are looking for single family homes in the Langhorne and Bensalem area and are concerned about their school districts (Neshaminy SD and Bensalem SD, respectively). Most people think that Neshaminy schools are better but the homes in Langhorne are also more expensive. We looked at some neighborhoods in the upper Bensalem area (eg. "Woods of Neshaminy") where homes in the 400k-450k range are very nice. So now we are wondering if the Bensalem SD is good enough to go ahead with putting offers in some Bensalem homes.

Does anybody here have kids in either Valley ES or Cecilia Synder MS or Bensalem HS? What do *you* personally think about these schools? We have read reviews of these schools in greatshools.net but of course these reviews don't represent the entire truth. Please share what you know about these schools and about Bensalem school district in general.

Thanks in advance.
