Hello people,
I am trying to get some information about Univeristy of Penn for my Aunt and cousin who are coming from over seas to study for a year. I am looking for a place that is within walking distance to the university and in a good neighborhood that has grocery and other shops close by because they do not drive. I wanted to know how do you guys do the renting gig there. Is it like NYC where you need a couple of months rent upfront and possibly broker fees. Also what is an average price for a 2-3 bedroom house/condo in the area. Are most of the utilities included in the rent there. Any help would be appreciated.

where I live, renters do need security deposits, usually 1.5months in advance. I do not live by Penn University, but a division of it in berks county. Check out realtor.com for rentals and condo prices.
