Cool Where In South Philly?
I'm an 18/Black/Female. I want to live in South Philly. No where near Grey's Ferry since I read Irish Catholics's and The Tasker Housing Projects. I want to live close to South Street & Ikea (and other shopping centers). Any suggestions?

As another poster said, Queen Village is nice. If that it too pricey, try around the Italian Market area, south of Washington Ave. It is a very safe neighborhood for the most part, although there was a murder at 8th and Ellsworth recently, but that is not typical.
