Default Another commuting question, South Jersey to Philly

Love this site, hoping you all can help me out.

Just moved back to the area, and looking to take a job in the city, near city hall. I'll live near Mullica Hill, which is in Jersey about 5 miles east of the Commodore Barry Bridge.

What is the easiest way to get into the city during rush hour? Is driving to public transportation easy? It looks like I'd have to drive out of my way a bit to catch a PATCO train, since I am coming from the south side. If I am to take a bridge, does it make sense to jump over the Commodore Barry into Philly and take 95 in, or take Whitman or Frankling instead?

Finally, parking in Center City...if I take a car all the way in, am I going to get destroyed on parking? I found one place that was about 300 a month, no assigned spot. That is pretty steep...

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

There are some cheap lots in Philly. I, too, commute from southern NJ where there are not convenient patco stations. I wish NJ would recognize and build some patco stations to compensate for all the migration to more "rural" New Jersey. I wish they would set up convenient lines to philly and wilmington.

I recently moved to Mickleton, NJ Not far from Mullica hill and have been tossing this same question around. I've heard you can park at the stadiums and take the subway in but can't find that parking lot.

My current path is 295 to 676 to ben franklin bridge into the city but coming home everything backs up really bad on 42.

Funny...Mickleton here as well. KG East if you are familiar.

Same route for me, 295 to 676 over Ben, ending up around 16th and Market.
