Default Philly Legal Field

I went to visit my best friend in Philadelphia this weekend and I really liked the city. I will be graduating law school in PA next summer and am thinking about where I'd like to move when I'm done, and staying in the state would be convienient with regard to the bar exam.
Are there a lot of jobs for recent law school grads there? Any tips/info about job hunting in Philly would be greatly appreciated!

If there's one thing we have in Philly is an abundance of lawyers. You fidn't say what kind of law you are interested in or what size firm/office you would like. The better your class ranking and the more prestigious your school, the better chance you will have at a large law firm. Just start sending out your resume for a law clerk position for the summer of 2009. You can get information here:

Thanks for the link. The truth is that I'm still not sure what area of the law in which I'm the most interested... I doubt my school/rank will put me in the sights of the bigger firms - and I'm okay with that. I would be okay making less money in a smaller firm - there are trade-offs from what I hear!
I guess I'm just not sure how to handle interviewing for a job in another city. I will be staying here next summer to study for the bar and would like to have something lined up for September or so. I just don't know how to cram in interviewing in a city 5 hours away with studying and working. Did anyone else go through the same thing?
