Default Anyone in Council Rock school district....

Hi. We will be relocating to Newtown and my husband will be commuting to NYC. He will be driving to the Hamilton train station. We were wondering since Newtown is such a big place, which Elementary Schools should we be looking at (or what communities or areas) so that he will be closest to the train station. Also, our son has special needs and so we would like to be in one of the home schools that has a good special ed presence. He is on the autistic spectrum and we would like an elementary school that has good inclusion practices...Thank you for any information.

Elise

Newtown isn't that big...unless it has really grown since I lived there a few years ago. I did some student teaching at Newtown Elem School and I think it is a wonderful school. SOme very creative teachers there.
Princeton isn't far either and may be a nice place for your hubby to catch the train. a 20 minute drive or so. Trenton is very close, but I wouldn't leave my car in Trenton, lol!
Anyway, anywhere you live in Newtown will be fine. I think there is only 2 elem schools there, but I could be wrong.
good luck. I love it there. Brick Hotel was one of my fav places to eat!

There are three elem schools in the Council Rock School district in Newtown. Newtown Elem, Sol Feinstone and Goodnoe Elem. depending on where you live in Newtown will decide which school your child would go to.

If you are looking at the 500K range you can look into Newtown Grant, if you live in Newtown Grant you child would go to Newtown Elem. Anything north of Stoopvile RD would be Sol Feinstone and the borough would be Goodnoe Elem.

I lived in Newtown Grant. It is lovely. And there is a small daycare within the development. There is also a pool. Nice place to take a family walk as well.

I´m starting to research Newtown area and maybe Newtown Grant would be the best place for me and my family relocate. I´m looking to start renting first. My wife will attend Bucks Community College and I think it´s really close to Newtown Grant, isn´t it? Does any body know a good realtor that could help me find a good 2 or 3 br to rent in Newtown Grant?

I really liked the website of Chesterbrook Academy - Home does anybody know if it´s a good place for my 3 year son? I´m relocating from Brazil so I want my son to start soon in a good preschool to start learning English.

If anybody here lives or lived in Newtown Grant please send me your thoughts about living there!

Thanks
