It's not in Philly, but my girlfriend has ranted and raved about Taylor's at the Olde Mill in Norristown. Supposed to be really nice.

yeah - being in college zanzibar really didn't get frequented as much - i'm not the dressy type as it is - however every now and again i'd get enticed into there for some really good cocktails and some really strong acts ........ no complaints ever about the way I was treated there - just a little too showy for my tastes

i've heard ortliebs has gone through some changes, but am looking forward to hitting it this fall when I'm back in philly
