I wish none would. It's so annoying to have to listen to someone speaking loudly on their cellphone.

I can say that both Sprint and AT&T (at least under Cingular) do not, as I had both while commuting in Philly.

Thanks for contributing nothing to my post...well, except sarcasm, or the typical philly attitude that people here display...

I want to know b/c it will make me feel safer to have access to my cell phone while I am underground...

Please, don't waste your time, or mine especially, with pointless posts like this...

I will post whatever responses I want to. If you can't handle it, perhaps you should not be on an open forum.

Oh, honey, of course I can handle it! I just ask you, kindly, to refrain from replying to a post when you have nothing to say apart from a sassy remark. By the way, do you even have a cell phone service provider to recommend (please refer to original post)? Probably not. Thank you.

umm, I meant both of you.

In most of the area getting signals underground is difficult. The infrastructure in this country for those things is not great. You may find that Verizon does get some reception underground, but you'd be getting lucky more so that finding a constant signal.
