Default Penlynn (Lower Gwynedd Condos) Georgetown of Phila

A friend of mine is looking into maybe buying or renting a unit in the Georgetown of Philadelphia condo complex on Old Penlynn Pike.

I heard most units are tiny, but the complex looks gorgeous (old massive trees, quaint-buildings).

Does anyone have any experience with this community?

Thanks.

I had a friend who once lived there. It was a 2BR I think. Size was OK, but what I remember was that she had this walled-in area just outside her front door. It wasn't really a front lawn because I think it was all paved with red bricks, but it was pretty private. The grounds are nice, and the location is good in that it's less than 5 minutes to the Pennlyn train station and less than 10 minutes to the Turnpike. Even if your friend has no kids, take comfort in the Wissahickon School District in which Georgetown resides.
