Other areas like Cherry Hill??
What other areas are there close to Philly (>30 mins) that are like Cherry Hill?
Ie; Big box stores and supermarkets close by, newer housing stock and realtively inexpensive?
Any ideas on Cherry Hill alternatives, or is that the best of that genre in the area?
I am thinking Moorsetown, but that's a bit more expensive. Any ideas?

I don't think Moorestown is like Cherry Hill; in fact, I think it's the anti-CH. Moorestown is a really nice town, while CH is the epitome of suburban sprawl.
King of Prussia is similar (plenty of shopping), but CH has a better housing stock and at least to me seems closer to Center City.

Washington Township, although that commute's going to be a biatch.

I think a non biatch commute is pretty vital for them. Thanks though!

I live in Cherry Hill and it's probably your best bet for what you are looking for. Some other nice towns near Cherry Hill are Haddon Heights, parts of Collingswood, Westmont (Haddon Heights is my favorite) but these are older towns with older architecture than Cherry Hill, so if you like newer architecture you may not prefer them.
The three towns I mentioned are all within 5-10 minutes of Cherry Hill and all the shopping and I'd estimate the home prices are in line with Cherry Hill (Haddon Heights might be a little higher).
My Cherry Hill home is on the market and it's a beauty - let me know if you'd like info (it's a 1926 center hall colonial, though, so it may be older than what you are looking for).

Ohh, there's a lot more to Moorestown than downtown. I mean dt Moorestown is great but there is a whole lot of sprawl surrounding it. Moorestown, Mt. Laurel and Marlton are sprawl central.
King of Prussia is a good suggestion (Upper Merion Twp.) So is Plymouth Meeting in PA. Marlton too.

What is it about CH that they don't like? Taxes? Taxes are going to be high anywhere in Camden County.
Along the Rt 130 Corridor it's more reasonable (Cinnaminson Delran) and there's bus or train to CC.

Nope, actually they seem to like the idea of Cherry Hill, I'm justing looking for some additional options.
I thought KOP for options on the PA side, but wouldn't that commute be a biatch too? Everytime I go on 76 that way I get stuck in never ending, dire traffic. I never have that problem going to CH.
Thoughts?

Hoboken check out the area of Garnet Valley,Concord Township,Bethel Township,Chadds Ford, Concord De. Its probably closer to 45 minutes to Center City but it has easy access to 95 and Rt 1.. The intersection of 202 +92(Talleyville De) has every shopping option imaginable(tax free) and then a couple miles away 202/322/Rt1 in Garnet Valley/Concordville is growing rapidly with new shopping/ big box amenities/schools etc.
Its almost all new housing 1990>>>>. What you lose in an easy commute to Cherry HIll you gain with a a great natural landscape and total seclusion from crime and poverty.Understandably this area will be a bit pricier than Cherry Hil but its not overly affluent.

Plymouth Meeting/King of Prussia/Exton areas are similar if you're looking in De/Montgomery County in PA. South Jersey youre pretty much talking Cherry Hill/Vorhees.
