Conshohocken is very nice, quiet and clean. The schools are very good. My sister-in-law lives there with her family and wouldn't trade it for the world. It's right outside Philly but has a good, small-town feel to it. It still has small mom-&-pop stores within walking distance if you need to just run out to pick something up. Norristown has some good spots and some bad but it is trying to rebuild itself. It has some beautiful old homes in the area, plus some newer construction. I don't know much about the school district though. I do know that the closer you are to Main St., the more crime you'll see. You'll do better if you move closer to the outside boundaries of Norristown. Sorry I can't help you with Exton.

Norristown is a very dense older city that has seen much better days, the surrounding area is typical american suburbia nice. Conshocken is a hodge podge of neighborhoods from new million dollar masions to older row homes. Exton has a much more rural picturesque setting with tns of newer amenities, shopping restaurants schools etc. If you gave me a choice of where I would want to live out of those 3 towns it would be Exton by far.
