Admittedly I have faults but insecurity is definitely not a part of my mental makeup.

For future reference when you come on a neighboring states board and start making supercilous claims have the decency and wisdom to back your claims up with facts.Thats all I'm asking.

"Probably" will not suffice here as indisputable evidence.

Fair enough. Good of you to admit it. My suggestion is to learn to live with each other. I read the board regularly and will have my opinions. And I do back up with facts, the difference is sometimes you have to analyze the facts instead of taking them at face value.

How are you supposed to analyze this as a fact?

That is not a fact that is an opinion.

Facts are a collection of verifiable information.

Cheap trick. I dont get pissed off and I dont abuse or harass. I try to speak the truth which results in the byproduct of you abusing yourself. Its self-abuse on your part.

Facts are a collection of verifiable information.
1. Data manipulation is as old as the hills. You have to understand the subject before drawing conclusions. A collection of 'facts' can be misleading, bias, or outright useless.

2. My opinion on MFS is strongly supported by evidence and knowledge of the school. I posted the SAT score, I asked for the highest in PA. I happen to know only a handful of private schools in NJ scored 1900-2,000 or above (higher than MFS). Therefore, I know MFS has to be one of the highest SATs in the Philly region, if not the highest. I suspect it is. Additionally, I know the enrollment and colleges these kids are going to. I know the reputation as one of the finest private schools in the region.

Why not just move to the Tredyffrin-Easttown school district and enroll the kids there as Conestoga High is *that* good? You could bank that money for college, their weddings, first house, whatever...you should also check out Goshen Friends school for K-5 as their tuition is quite reasonable and the area is lovely...

From Philly Mag 2006 schools report:
Bang for Your Buck
Fifteen high-value schools that offer — based on tuition dollar or tax dollar spent — the best overall mix of high SATs, AP classes, and number of teachers. (• indicates a public school.)

1. •Masterman High School
2. St. Joseph’s Preparatory School
3. •Conestoga High School
4. Holy Ghost Preparatory School
5. •Central High School
6. The Baldwin School
7. The Haverford School
8. The Shipley School
9. The Episcopal Academy
10. Germantown Friends School
11. William Penn Charter School
12. Germantown Academy
13. Devon Preparatory School
14. • Cherry Hill High School East
15. Academy of Notre Dame de Namur

Try Frankford Friends School or Greene Street Friends School, they're about$9,000-$12,000 per kid and they go from K-8

Poshr is on a distinguished road
Thanks to everyone who has posted However,I didn't intend this thread to end up as a "NJ is better than Pa" one. So please don't get too heated guys
And,clickclack - those schools look loverly, but we really need one that is k-12. I refuse to let my kids be split up between 3 schools.
Anyone know much about Philadelphia-Montogmery Christian School?
We were looking at that as it is in a nice location and has reasonable fees. Is it VERY Christian orientated, or just teaching tose kind of values?
Thanks again
