I have been on again and off again and now finally on regarding a new job out in Malvern. Long commute from CC (Fairmount) so we are considering a move.
M Aire,/Chestnut Hill would be nice but part of me thinks if we are gonna move why not releive ourselves of the wage tax. Are their legitimate walkable areas on the Mainline (No need for a car Friday after work through Monday morning)? The closest I have seen is Wayne but even that seems pretty car dependent. Not overly concerned about the schools; will probably do catholic/private. So tell, where can I live that is closer to Malvern but still has a tight walkable urbanish area? |

West Chester or Phoenixville. Though Media I think has the only downtown where you can actually walk to do grocery shopping at Trader Joe's.
If staying on the Main Line is a requirement, Wayne is it... |

Actually, minus Wayne, the Main Line does not seem so walkable to me. Lots of traffic and not a ton f people out, well, walking. I will check out Phoenixville and Media |
