Default Places to live near West Chester?

My husband and I are relocating...he will be working in Spring City and I will be working in Wilmington. We are professional adults that don't have kids but we have 2 large dogs. Any suggestions on a good areas to live in that are safe, fun, and dog friendly? We were looking at West Chester but don't know much about it.

Yeah I'd say West Chester, Chester Springs, Malvern, Phoenixville...although it'd be a pretty long commute to Wilmington from Phoenixville but it's a lot of fun, safe, and dog friendly. There's a great new dog park...actually I think there are two, one in Phoenixville and one over toward Oaks. Anyway West Chester would be closer to halfway.

If you want less kids, check out Caln, Thorndale, East Fallowfield as Coatesville schools aren't so great and homes are affordable - there are a few in my development right now and I know we have at least one older couple without kids who have been here for 14+ years and love it...

Also Downingtown is a nice place to live with wooded areas and parks and good access to everything...

I just think it's silly to buy in a great school district and pay those taxes if you don't have kids or want a ton of kids as neighbors...if you love kids and families and want higher resale value, steer clear of the Coatesville SD...

Look for North Barley Sheaf Rd in 19320 to see a few homes in my development for sale...
