Default Any Construction jobs in Philadelphia or suburbs??
Hi,
I was wondering if there are any construction companies hiring in the Philadelphia or suburbs? My husband just got laid off and we were just getting ready to buy a home! He is a Carpenter and has experience in commercial and Residential work. I can't seem to find anything on Monster or Career Builder!

Just throw a stone...and it'll probably hit a union worker that can get him into the 'brotherhood' here.
He could also just make up some business cards and go into business for himself...that's what the guys do that I guess couldn't get in or got kicked out of the union here

In this market? There's hardly anything being built in the suburbs and only a few projects of note in the city. Retrain my friend, retrain.

Try craigslist and google...or move to the hurricane damaged south...I'm sure there's work there...
