WOW! It's almost a shame the Phillies won. I wanted to see the expression on Mayor Nutter's face when he signed over the deed to the city to the mayor of Tampa Bay, like that would ever happen.

How does the crow taste, Coolyfett?

Don't expect a response. He's too busy partying on Broad.

HELP! I'm stuck down here in Florida with all the .

Don't worry, the Rays "fans" will all be off the bandwagon now, especially if they start slow next year. Which is a shame because they do have an exciting team. But Florida is a sports wasteland....there are no true fans down there. The only things people want to watch down there are illiterate felons playing football at FSU and Florida.

Why do they have to have to the parade tomorrow...a weekday and Halloween.....spoils it for people like me who have kids and live 2 hours away. If it was Saturday, I would be there.....

It was nice to see Joe Maddon and the Rays make it to the World Series this year. The Rays are either second or third from the bottom in payroll so the ownership and coaches certainly got the most out of the team. as for the Rays fans, well that's a different story. The bandwagon fans really didn't start supporting the team until mid September and what a shame! For as good as the Rays are, they were very close to the bottom in attendance while the Phillies were, win or lose, right near the top. The Phillies fans deserve the victory more than the Rays fans by a LONG shot. Sticking it out in temps close to 40 degrees with rain and sleet until the very end to watch the team. That's a sign of true fans. Getting back to the teams, even though the series went only five games at least they were very close games with the exception of #4. The big difference was the experience, Phillies bullpen is far superior, and Tampa's 3/4 hitters looked like crapola in the world Series. Utley and Howard really turned it on back in Philly and closer Lidge was of course, unhittable.
