Have any of you used them in Philadelphia. If so, how are they? How well do they pay? How long before they placed you?

Depends what kind of job you're looking for. I used OfficeTeam once a long time ago and they placed me the day after I called. Of course it helped that I aced their computer/typing test and already had an engineering degree. Pay was not very good, I think $10/hour (this is like, 10 years ago) but I just wanted something to keep me busy while I looked for a new engineering job. Found one in two weeks and ditched the temp agency.

When I moved here in 2003 I was hopeful that I'd be able to find a job in this big city...not so. I started by calling pretty much every temp place in the city but only got results from maybe 2 of them that got the lowest paying jobs than I'd seen in awhile...I thought yea that's PA
So I ended up having better luck over in NJ.
Later on some places started trickling in,but nothing materialized. Probably b/c I no longer felt like traversing through the jungle here to work,so I opted to keep working in NJ.
The few places that did look somewhat hopeful were The Dubin Group, spherion, and Michael Page was about it.

Good luck!
