Default Public transportation airport to King of Prussia

Hi,

Is there a good way to go from the Philly international airport to King of Prussia via public transportation? such as train or light rail or bus? What about the cost and schedule of each of them? Thanks.

Take the R1 train from the airport to Suburban Station. Once at Suburban walk up to street level. You're looking for JFK Blvd. It's well signed and if you still can't find it just ask. On anyone of the corners of JFK you can catch the 124 or 125 bus - both run express to KOP. The bus shelter will have the numbers on it signifying which buses stop there.

The train and the bus run every 30 minutes or less. From the airport to Suburban will cost you $6 and take about 25 minutes. From Suburban to KOP will cost you $5 and take you about 40 minutes provided the traffic isn't terrible.

The only practical alternative is to take the R1, which often becomes the R6 after passing through Center City. Take the R6 to Norristown. There's a taxi stand across the street from that station in Norristown. It's maybe a 10 minute cab ride over to the mall. The train portion of the trip would be about an hour and cost $8. The taxi would probably be $10-$15.

The 124 and 125 also stops at 30th Street Station - you can get the R1 there.

You can always try to SEPTA trip planner:
Trip Planner

There is also a high speed (no grade crossings) trolley line that may be better, depending where in KOP you're planning to go. And there's a train that runs up to Norristown. The trip planner should give you the best info though. And the Train-Bus method suggested above is probably your best option.

I was going to suggest that but with all of the construction on 29th St. right now it would be too confusing to try to explain how to get there from the regional rail concourse.

It's just easier to go to Suburban.
