I've posted here before about Thornton...ended up not buying there..focusing on Malvern- really like the area, can afford a house there (found the perfect house, actually) and Great Valley schools are the main draw. However, this area of Malvern has been split between two townships, and this particular house is East Goshen township- Westchester schools. East Goshen elementary gets an 8 on Greatschools...middle school a 9 and East High School a 10......compared to T/E and Great Valley, is Westchester school district considered 'second rate'?? What a big decision, and not sure what to do..living in Malvern would be nice.
Thanks to anyone who can give me their 2 cents worth.

We live in East Goshen and have loved it here. We live on the edge of Malvern although our address is West Chester. I have 2 kids who attend East Goshen Elem. and I have been happy with the ciriculum and the activities.

We moved from the DC area a few years ago and are actually relocating this summer. I am visiting from the NC boards, I realized the locals give me so much great advice on the area we are moving to, I should try to do the same on the Philly boards!
