Default Exton or Phoenixville - how's the weather usually?

Hi. I recently returned from a quick trip to Exton and Phoenixville. The days I was there, the weather was beautiful. Anyone know how the weather is usually? Any severe weather? Thanks for any info!

Here's a fun website that let's you see a years worth of weather: History : Weather Underground

I think the weather is very subjective depending on where you currently live. If you are from Phoenix, it's cold. If you are from Maine, summer comes much sooner.

Not very. Generally the further north and/or west you go, the worse the winters. I live in Thorndale/Coatesville and we've had 2 power outages in the past 1.5 years living here.

My wife's friends live in Chester Springs and have power outages just about every time we have a heavy thunderstorm.

Exton/Phoenixville are a tad closer in so you get less snow/it gets a little less cold in the winter.

Lots of above ground power lines close to trees in that part of Chester County. I've been without power 3 - 4 days at a time after bad, windy, summer thunder storms. However, its pretty rare and its not something that would sway me away from living in that area. Buying a generator helps too.

exton is more resourceful than phoenixville, and i'd say has more to keep up with. this works in your favor. they'd have to be more on top of things in the winter. plus its a little less remote. more modern. neither i would say has severe weather. things are relatively moderate around philly, compared to 7+ hours north/south of here

Being in the further NW suburbs, Exton and Phoenixville would be more prone to receive more winter snow than the city proper. In the spring and summer, it would be maybe 3-5 degrees cooler than Philly as well.

Huh? That's just crazy, Phoenixville has just as much to keep with as Exton. More remote than what? Phoenixville is not remote in the least. Exton is further from the city than Pville is.

Anyway, we did have a few short power outtages in Pville when I lived there, we seemed to get a lot of those nasty high-wind thunderstorms compared to other areas. Not that much snow though.

We had one huge flood in Phoenixville that shut down the Mont Clare bridge for several days, because of being on a major river, but that was like a once in 100 years flood.
