Hey.

Whats the deal w/ Malvern? We are looking to spend 500ish for 3-4 BD, 2+ bath, with good schools? Seems much cheaper than Devon/Wayne

Wife will be working in Lansdale area, so I was thinking reverse commute for her. I need somewhat easy access to PHL.

Looking forward to coming home to the commonwealth.

Thanks for any insight.

Malvern is the tail end of the Main Line. It's still more "horse-y" but less expensive. It's further out.

Those areas to Lansdale will be a bit of a commute. Lafayette Hill would be a better commute to Lansdale. LH is in the Colonial School District, and has plenty of $500k homes. It's very near Chestnut Hill (a really nice Philadelphia neighborhood) and about 5-10 minutes from Plymouth Meeting and the Turnpike, Northeast Extension, and the Blue Route.

Thanks for the info, I will try and do some research on the Colonial SD.

One of my friends just bought there but he is still single and doesn't have to worry about school, he loves the location.

I think for her commute LF, Blue Bell, and maybe Skippack would be best.
