Asian-Indian / metro Philadelphia
Would like to know if there are any suburban areas in metro Philadelphia that are popular with Asian-Indians. Suitable for middle to upper-middle class living. Thanks.

The first area that comes to mind is the North Penn School District (search for homes in Lansdale and North Wales). There's even an Assi Market there. Lansdale itself is a small town that is blue collar-ish. However, it's surrounded by middle/upper middle class areas, such as Upper Gwynedd.
Another are that comes to mind is the Upper Dublin School District (search for homes in Fort Washington and Upper Dublin). I don't think it's as Asian as North Penn, but there is definately a significant Asian presence in those schools.
These are 2 areas in Montgomery County. There are Asian-Indians throughout the county, but these 2 have the most. I'm sure there are other counties with such populations as well.

If you want an Asian Indian near-majority a bit further north in New Jersey but still within the fringes of Philly, try West Windsor in Mercer Cty, near Princeton. Best schools around. It's about 45 miles north of Philadelphia.

Please let me know if you are aware of any Indian restaurants, grocery stores, etc. in the Lansdale / North Wales area.
Also, is this area reasonably located to job centers? And access to SEPTA line (looks like R5 passes by, how long would it take to Center City)?
Thanks.

Thanks for the info, but I would prefer staying closer to Philadelphia.

john_starks, Noted your favorite restaurants, and I am aware that Edison is filled with Indian resources.
I am specifically trying to find out about Indian restautants/stores in the Philly metro area, and perhaps in some of the suburbs mentioned in some of the previous posts. Just to see how prevalent they are, to get a feel...

My favorite Indian restaurant in the world is in King of Prussia, and believe me, I've eaten at many Indian restaurants (it's my favorite cuisine )
