Forgive me, as I have lived a sheltered life here in Omaha. What is a K-car?

I don't remember the last time I ate at a chain restaurant. If your only experience of a city is the suburbs, you shouldn't even say you were there. I've been to Long Island and definitely realize it isn't NYC.

The chains are for the most part in the burbs.

People in PA just seem to really LOVE them for some reason or other. I think they're hideous!

Philadelphia and to a greater extent, Baltimore are both underrated. I think the issue is the fact they are both on the east coast and are greatly outshined by NYC, Boston, and DC. However, to me they are both great cities offering so much more than most others. They have the density, the history, the arts, the locations, that make them great cities. Both of them are also experiencing greater investment. Plop either of them down somewhere else in the country away from the others and folks would rave about them.

Yea Philly's dense alright

If Philly was to be plopped somewhere else in the country it would have the same effect Detroit does where it is...

Philadelphia is great city with a very significant role in our country's history. I was there last month and had a blast. It was great to see the city growing with new sky scrapers.
