I know,I meant in depth info. 200 cabins @ 4200 yr lease that’s a lot of revenue for 2 employees and 80k only in property taxes for the tract. The numbers don’t add up. Or there are only 150 inhabited and the revenue is less for leases from 10 yrs ago. Seems like there is some missing info. The website does not give a sample land lease contract. Be nice to hear from people in there that are cabin owners -

It does sound quite idyllic, but correct me if I'm wrong: Schnabel's Woods seems a bit like a mobile-home park, not in appearance (so pretty, peaceful, etc.), but with respect to those "land fees." Essentially, if you buy the cabin you're not acquiring the land with it - you are renting that land. I know the place has been in existence for many years, but eventually let's assume the owner decides to sell to a developer who has other plans for the land upon which the cabins are built. You can't exactly drive your purchased cabin off the land and relocate -- can you?

Please note that city-data is not in the business of real estate transactions. Any posts listing places for sale or asking sellers to contact them will be deleted. I've fixed the link for Schabel's listed in one of the first posts. Please contact the owner if you have interest in buying or selling there.

Schnabel's Woods is a wonderful "secret" in Upper Bucks County. Right now there are some real buying opportunities available in the Woods. Anyone with children in their family looking for a beautiful weekend getaway should run, not walk, here and check it out. We've had our cabin a little over a year now, and could not be happier. And calmer. And more satisfied with life.
