What would be the best place to live between Lansdale (my job) and Warrington (hubby's job)? We are looking for a home base that is less than a 30 min commute for both, great schools, and a friendly neighborhood (2 small kids). Thanks for any suggestions and even specific developments.

Price range would be a factor.

I would recommend Ambler, Oreland, Wyndmoor. These areas are very close to 309 which can get you to Lansdale and him to Warrington via the turnpike. If your budget allows, look in Fort Washington because you can take 309 all the way up to Lansdale within 20min or less and he can take the turnpike or take fitzwatertown rd to york rd and get into warrington in about the same. In Fort Washington you're looking at home prices about 375k and up. Ambler is more affordable which is the town right next to it so check both out. Oreland and Wyndmoor are pretty affordable and you could get a home for 250-350k.
