Are there any just really out standing restaurants that are in Philadelphia.

If so give details:

e.g. where, food, fun...

Le Bec Fin would seem to be the gold standard in Philly. However, I'm not exactly an adventurous gourmand so I can't speak from experience.

I would suggest my current top 10(in no particular order):

1. Penang-10th and Arch
2. Fogo de Chao-not sure of address, brazillian steakhouse
3. La Locanda del Ghiottone-2nd and Cherry(amazing!)
4. Sabrinas-christian st and ?? for brunch
5. POD-university city
6. Barclay Prime-very pricey, but steak and lobster like butta!
7. RAW-sushi,not sure of address
8. Roy's- Hawaiin fusion, not sure of address
9. Buddakhan-the obvious cliche, but i haven't had a bad meal yet! 2nd or 3rd and Chesnut'
10. cuba libre- 2nd and market, actually not my favorite, but worth mentioning
11.(i know 1 extra!) Swanky Bubbles -Front street, very cool. It's a champagne bar but very pricey. Fun though
12. for groups and for "the experience" check out Fez off south street-moroccan complete with belly dancers!

Xochitl ("so-cheet") - Mexican, but no tacos or burritos; I think it was a special (but a frequent special), but I got a chicken dish with huitlacoche that was great

Patou, Bistro St Tropez - French, same owner; I remember going a lot for these special 3-course meals (not Restaurant Week) that were each inspired by some area of the French-speaking world (i.e. French Caribbean)

Amada, Tinto - gourmet Spanish (Tinto is Basque)

Bar Ferdinand - another Spanish tapas place, but less fancy/pricey than Amada

And then I second pretty much everything else described above
