Looking for a Hotel w/ a Night Club for my Wedding Reception
I was hoping someone could help me locate a venue for my wedding reception. It has to be a hotel, with a night club, it has to have a nice ballroom or banquet facility and be in the suburbs. Thank you in advance for your help!

You'll find most of what you're looking for except for the nightclub. The Philadelphia suburbs aren't exactly "swinging places". If you're able to get over what seems a potential fear of being in the city, I would also recommend the Loews Hotel.

Radnor Hotel has a bar...not a nightclub, but it meets your other criteria...

Iif it doesn't have to be IN Philly but can be fairly close. You can try the Radisson in KOP they have ICE nightclub and also they offer fantasy suites.

I suppose the KOP location might be one of the only ones I know of that has a nightclub. Most hotels do not. Hire your dj and then you can have your own nightclub If you are in the city, then afterwards you and whoever can venture out to a nightclub. You can even make some "VIP" reservations, but as for hotels with nightclubs,it's unlikely.

I agree that the Radisson in KOP would be your only nightclub-ready option. I'd be wary of the fantasy suites, though. I stayed in two rooms on consecutive nights (unplanned since the hotel was overbooked) and both the quality and maintenance were lacking. Reviews on a well-known "trip advice" site are generally less than glowing. I second the suggestion to rent a DJ and space in your hotel if a suburban location is a requirement.
I also agree that Loews in Center City would have the hippest hotel bar downtown albeit with no club atmosphere. I also support the idea to "rock out" and get VIP bottle service at one of the many downtown nightclubs, depending how many in your party will be accompanying you.

I second the Loews Hotel. They have a ballroom and bar on the 33rd floor- with some of the best views of the city. And if people want to spread out and try some other places- other bars are only a few blocks away. The Hyatt on Broad has a great resturant and bar, but not much room for dancing. They might be able to put something together for you though.
Don't do it in the burbs.... that's so 90's!

ive had office and charity cocktail parties at the Loews, awesome drinks and nice ballroom and centrally located downtown. I dont think the burbs of Philly have much in the way of hip places, but i could be wrong.
the Loews is modern, slightly Art Deco, real style.
the Ritz is awesome too, on south Broad
