Default Relocating to New Hope or Doylestown - questions re: neighborhoods

Alright - my husband and I have decided to relo to PA and we have some questions regarding neighborhoods. I feel our realtor is pushing us a bit so I want to get some more advise.....

If anyone has any feedback on these communities - please feel free to give any and all insight - thank you.

In New Hope we are considering Peddlers View but I am concerned about the locale to 202 and the noise. But - it does appear to be a "family" neighborhood.

Our number one priority is to get into a neighborhood that is friendly, family friendly, dog friendly - you get my drift. A place that people show their faces, maybe have a block party, etc. No place stuffy. We are not as concerned about the age of the community..... so Peddlers View was a younger community but I am also interested in.............

Riverwoods. It appears at first glance to be well maintained from pictures I have seen. I am planning on taking a drive through with the realtor and look at some homes but wanted to get feedback.

In Doylestown:
Buckingham Square (Miladies, Milords) - this seems like a smaller community....cannot get "feel" of it.

Hearthstone

North Branch

Dalton Glen

Thanks -

I live in the Cold Spring Hunt development in Buckingham. Cold Spring Elementary school is in walking distance and the neighborhood has a lot of kids and dogs. Hearthstone, Cold Spring Hunt etc.. all good neighborhoods. Good Luck!
