University City housing recommendations
I'm considering moving to UC from Baltimore. I really like the Clark Park area but in walking around, I noticed what seemed to be an incredible variety in the blocks, even with-in some blocks: some houses looked gentrified and others looked like run-drug houses and shooting galleries, like Chester St. Can any one living in UC make specific recommendations about apt. buildings or intersections in that area?
I also noticed Campus Aparments owns an awful lot of properties in UC. Any feedback on them?
BTW, I've seen and lived in "The Wire" side of Baltimore so I'm not easily shaken but I don't believe in courting bad luck either.
