Default commute time

I have posted once before and had a few responses but I'm still having trouble finding an apartment. I would like to know what towns are near Conshohocken generally within 30 min and not high in crime with rent prices between 800-1200 (obviously if its not a bad neighborhood and its cheaper its ok to mention it too. I was looking at Pottstown, Phoniexville and Limerick but honestly I have no idea how far these places are and how bad of a commute they might be!

I'm getting incredibly frustrated looking anything helps. Thanks in advance.

Why not just rent in Conshohocken and be done with it?

You can try Ambler too - it's a pretty straight shot down Butler Pike, maybe 15-20 minutes.

I agree with orrmobl -- you'd probably be better off renting in Conshohocken, if at all possible.

Pottstown and Limerick are definitely not close enough for a 30 min. commute. Phoenixville is doable, but it would be cutting it close.

In addition to the towns already suggested, King of Prussia is another possibility.

Conshohocken is really kind of pricey though. I just moved here not that long ago and I will be renting for the first time- so I may be ok to rent a house for like $1500 but I'd rather play it safe then struggle to make rent. I'll try some of the other ones mentioned.

Also when your looking for a place to rent what are the best sites? I've been looking on craigslist and they have a lot of ads but I was just looking for alternatives.

unless you have something against living in philadelphia county, how about roxborough?

what type of apartment are you looking for? i would think $800 - $1200 would get you something nice in conshohocken.
