Well, if you're going to Temple, I would say that college is a great place to meet other singles in a much more natural way than you would at a bar, for one, there is an easy common interest to start with: you both go to the same school. Every class is an opportunity to meet people, whether it be for romance or friendship. Try to find the activities on campus, yes there will be a lot of drunk college parties but there are also clubs (I mean school groups, not night clubs). I don't think you said if you were living on campus or not, but you could also meet someone that way.

there are beautiful women in philadelphia, but i wouldnt say nice and approachable. they tend to be very standoffish and when you try to connect they act as if you are nothing but trash. sad but i think its just a population of tv viewers and social climbers
