Default Commute times

Despite my best efforts I will be moving to the Philly area. My biggest concern (at least the biggest concern I have kind of control in deciding) is commute times. I will be working with DPSC located on Robbins Avenue.

A friend suggested NJ but I have no idea what kind of drive I would be looking at everyday.

If you want to live in Jersey consider renting in Pennsauken and the surrounding area. The trip over the Tacony-Palmyra to the center on Robbins Avenue would probably take about 45 minutes.

Suggestion: if you really want some sound advice from knowledgable people like rainrock and other regulars who monitor this forum you may want to consider rewording your request. There are some of us who ACTUALLY like the Philly area and wouldn't live anywhere else. Maybe you'll have better luck with your next transfer.

I'm absolutely going to hate living and working in the Philly area period. I'm sorry that pisses some people off. Trust me they will get over it.

I love your positive attitude. You are not worth my effort of getting over it.

I tried to give you advice and THIS is the way you respond? You really have alot of guts asking for help and insulting the area in the process.
